Michael is originally from New York. There he used to be working at numerous hotel restaurants, advising the pickiest customers which wine will go the best with their dish. After having such an essential work experience, Michael was poised to be a perfect fit for us. Since then he’s been working at our restaurant for 12 years and counting…
While his previous work experience included working at various French restaurants, he didn’t work with wine initially. But after making a fortunate decision to become a sommelier, he proved himself one of the best people in business, which eventually landed him an intern position with us. It’s been 8 years since then and he’s our 2nd best now!
Diane’s experience at both Italian and Spanish wine restaurants in Europe has proved to be essential when we were considering her for the job. Now, she manages all the European wines that we have. Though they’re small in number, as opposed to the American wines collection we owe, still those rare vintages we have are well taken care of!
Emily is one of the first staff members that our restaurant has hired. She enrolled to our venue back in 1992, during our first year of operations and has remained an essential part of our sommeliers team ever since. Now Jane is our senior wine specialist, who’s in charge of overseeing, knowing and of course tasting all the American wines that our restaurant has.
As the main chef, Timothy is responsible for making our Accompanying dishes menu just as brilliant and excellent as our Wine Menu is… The overall previous experience that he’s had in numerous European and American restaurants was one of the main reasons for us to hire him. Eventually, we were right in our decision, based on how happy all of our customers are with our food!
Desserts & Cheese Chef
Ms. Jerrstens is the person in charge of overseeing and cooking all the desserts on our Accompanying food menu. Additionally, in a perfect marriage to our wines, there’s the cheeses selection that she and her team serves, like Parmigiano Reggiano, English Farmhouse Cheddar, Roquefort, Brie de Melun, Gruyère, Roncal, Lake’s Edge and the Époisses… Our customers enjoy them a lot!
Pamela is the perfect choice for being our senior waitress, as she is as much focused on excellence of the customer service and the overall workflow, as we all are… This means, that it’s thanks to Pamela that all our restaurant’s visitors are so happy with the overall level of the customer service that we do provide… All in all, Pamela is a perfect example to all of our other waitresses!
